Kendall Corso

On this episode of Comes A Time, Mike and Oteil welcome Kendall Corso onto the show to discuss her non-profit, backline, and how it’s helping music industry professionals and their families to overcome mental health struggles, and navigate life without a guidebook. They also talk about adapting to changes in priorities and identity over time, the importance of creating spaces to talk about mental health-related challenges, and Oteil and Mike break down the things they do to bring themselves consistency and balance as performers.

Kendall Corso is the co-founder and wellness advisor at backline, a non-profit that connects music industry professionals and their families with mental health & wellness resources. Backline aims to “build a safer and more supportive music industry by helping our community access quality mental health care providers that understand this line of work,” and Kendall is at the forefront of this effort as a member of the board of directors. Backline has helped thousands of music industry professionals, from musicians to promoters, to navigate mental health struggles that are all too common in the music world.
