Corinthians FC were a public school derived - and strictly amateur - club, composed of 'gentlemen' of a certain social class and who believed in sportsmanship on the field of play. Evangelists for the game, the famous Corinthian club of Brazil as well as Real Madrid paid tribute to the influence of the side that held to a Latin phrase 'Lex Non Scripta' (the unwritten law).
