Achtung! Millwall 157: damn right we got the post Middlesbrough blues baby

In the words of George Harrison’s 1970 triple album, ‘all things must pass’. And so it was (finally) yesterday, with the Lions 0-2 defeat at Middlesbrough. A defeat that all but ends the miraculous run of 2018 to the brink of the Championship play-offs, but no further now.

To be fair, Millwall were outplayed at their own game by a very well prepared ‘Boro, overseen by the highly experienced Tony Pulis. Good luck to them, as the wins seals their place in the post season fight for Premier League status.

For Millwall though, it’s the bitter pill of a summer of ‘what ifs’ that looms. As well as some serious decision making for the club as to how we push on from this season of high achievement.

On this week’s show we have three guests: first up is the MSC’s Michael Avery @mavery1986 to chew over the aftermath of yesterday’s loss at the Riverside Stadium. Secondly we have show regular Neil ‘Crazyhorse’ Andrews @goalkeepersdiff arguing the case for the defence in the online trial of Jordan Archer and third we have Millwall fan on the board Micky Simpson @MillwallFotb discussing the continuing off field controversies with Lewisham Council.
