At his first job in Chicago, N. had it pretty easy as a busboy, but he could see that waiters made more money. He asked his manager for a promotion, confident that he could charm customers with his knowledge of food and wine. But N's hopes of becoming a server were sabotaged one night by a sexy woman, his wandering eyes, and a basket of bread.
