Swindon Town (H) Preview - Season 22/23, Episode 9

United's hopes of a League Cup run are over for another season, but there's plenty of positives to take from the narrow 3-2 defeat at League One side Shrewsbury Town.

In this episode of The Brunton Bugle, Lee is joined by special guest host Gregg Bulman to run through the main talking points from that loss in Shropshire - including an encouraging debut for Jayden Harris, some appalling refereeing decisions and the worrying growing injury list. There's also another set of 60 Second Reviews and a quick round-up of the the other results in the cup.

After that, we look ahead to the visit of Swindon Town this weekend including the inevitable circus that will be Harry McKirdy's involvement. We have a chat with Rich from the Loathed Strangers podcast who discussed the enigma that is Harry McKirdy, their play-off defeat hangover, the managerial change saga they had to put up with over the summer and some underwhelming recruitment for them over the last few months.

There's also a news round-up and the usual run-down on how Ex-Blues have got on recently.

A big thank you to Gregg for stepping in to cover in Dan and Mike's absence - you can find Gregg's excellent Beer Review Youtube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/Boolman%E2%80%99sBeerReviews
