Specials - Episode 9 - Kristian Dennis Interview

It's taken a while, but we are finally releasing the third of our run of special interview episodes of The Brunton Bugle, and this time it's the man bagging all the goals for the Blues this season!

Back at the start of October, prior to the home game against Crewe Alexandra, Lee was lucky enough to travel to Brunton Park to speak to four members of the playing and non-playing staff at the club as part of a series of interviews for the pod.

Following on from the chats we published previously with goalkeeper Tomáš Holý and Cumbrian midfielder Owen Moxon, this episode we got the chance to have a chat with one of League Two's deadliest finishers this season, Kristian Dennis!

Discussing his career, Kristian covered a number of topics including:

  • Working his way back up the football ranks after being released by Macclesfield
  • An encounter with his Stockport County manager at Cheshire Oaks shopping centre
  • Scoring against Celtic in the SPL infront of no fans during Covid
  • His thoughts on Keith Millen's comments on his match fitness after signing
  • And what it's been like to work under Paul Simpson

Big thanks to Kristian for giving up his time after training to speak to us and also to Andy and Amy from the club's media team for helping to set this up.

Keep an eye out for the final episode, a chat with Blues legend John Halpin, in the near future!
