Portsmouth (H) Preview - Season 23/24, Episode 32

It was a miserable trip to the capital for United at the weekend as they lost 3-2 at Leyton Orient - but can Paul Simpson turn things around and perform the "Great Escape" to stay in League One?

In this week's episode of The Brunton Bugle, Lee is joined by Adam Tiffen (@adamtiffen18 on Twitter) to look back on the loss to the O's - a game with very few chances for the Blues and some pretty limp defending thrown into the bargain.

That's followed by a look ahead to this weekend's clash with table-toppers Portsmouth - this includes a chat with Andy from the excellent PO4Cast Pompey Podcast about how they are getting on this season (pretty well, it turns out).

On top of that, there's a news round-up and the usual Ex-Blues update.

Your host Lee Rooney is in Liverpool and is joined via the wonders of the internet by Adam Tiffen in Carlisle. You can find us on Twitter @bruntonbugle, Facebook (search for "Brunton Bugle") and email us with any questions, suggestions and feedback to bruntonbugle@gmail.com.
