Oldham Athletic (H) - Preview - Season 21/22, Episode 17

The goal drought is over but United remain stuck in the relegation zone in League Two - can whoever takes over the hot-seat from Chris Beech drag United away from the non-league trapdoor?

On the latest episode of The Brunton Bugle, the lads look back on the 1-0 defeat at Tranmere Rovers and the 2-2 draw at Newport County, as caretaker Gavin Skelton oversees some improved performances in his first two games in charge.

There's also a preview of this weekend's clash with fellow strugglers Oldham Athletic, as Keith Curle returns to Brunton Park. This includes:

  • A chat with Matt from the Boundary Park Alert System podcast about the on-going off-the-field chaos at Oldham, with plenty of talk of the parallels between them and United!
  • A classic match featuring a Boxing Day treat from three years ago!
  • A look at some of the players who played for both clubs
  • And the usual run-down of how the opposition has got on this season.

On top of all this, there's the usual news round-up and catch-up on how ex-Blues have got on in the last week.
