Mansfield Town (H) Preview - Season 22/23, Episode 35

United may have been cheered on by over 1,000 Blues in the capital this weekend, but they couldn't quite find that killer touch against a resilient AFC Wimbledon side, leaving with a share of the points.

In this episode of The Brunton Bugle, Lee and Mike look back on their trip down to London this weekend to see United draw 0-0 with the Dons - plenty of chat of Simmo's interesting tactical change upfront, another resolute defensive performance and Mike's horrendous record watching Carlisle games within the M25 outside of Wembley finals.

We also look ahead to the midweek home clash with Mansfield Town, featuring a chat with Clive from the Mansfield Matters podcast - plenty was covered including the Danny Johnson transfer saga, overcoming last season's play-off final disappointment and whether Nigel Clough is the man to take them forward after this season.

Alongside this is a news update and the usual Loan Watch Round-up.

Your host Lee Rooney is in Liverpool and is joined via the wonders of the internet by Mike Booth in Formby.
