our own independant candidate finds her voice, what to cook for xmas when you're tired, and jazz ladies

What a year!

IN Episode 49, Jo Stanley and Kerri Stanley talk with Broad Radio's own co-host turned political candidate Zoe Daniel and she explains why she'd decided to run for Federal Parliament in the Melbourne Bayside seat of Goldstein, and how important she thinks it is for us to have a sensible voice in the room.

We love her and are so inspired by her throwing her hat in the ring!

Then, we talk xmas, food and entertaining with Alice Zaslavsky or as you might know her Alice in Frames, author of the book, 'In Praise of Veg' and lover of food and ease!

And in a bit of a musical chain letter we're joined by Janine Maunder who came in to accompany Tania Doko a few weeks ago on the piano, but this week came into the studio to sing a Rikki Lee Jones song for us and tell us about the women in Jazz festival she's part of. Unfortunately we can't bring you the song, podcast rules and all that but you can hear it in the ep on the front page of our website here:

It's a great episode!
