This fortnight Tegan read the classic Lady Chatterly’s Lover, a book banned in the UK until 1960 for its use of “four letter words,” and together we ponder why the author, DH Lawrence, never talks about foreplay, always talks about the bowels, and thinks the clitoris is a beak.
