7. Algae Development - A policy perspective

Algae is an extremely important and current topic due to its many potentials related to the climate, eutrophication, and food production. Recently, algae have been a focus of interest in developing the blue economy. In the podcast, we hear expert deliberation on policies related to algae from Kristian Spilling (the Finnish Environment Institute), Anu Lähteenmäki-Uutela (the Finnish Environment Institute and the Faculty of Law at the University Turku), Moritz Albrecht (the Department of Geographical and Historical Studies at the University of Eastern Finland) Jani Lukkarinen (the Finnish Environment Institute and BlueAdapt), as well as Mikael Sokero from BlueAdapt.
