Not quite the resounding performance many were expecting, but Liverpool again showing another side to their game to come through and continue their winning run in the Premier League. West Ham seen off eventually 3-2 at Anfield, despite forcing the Reds to come from 2-1 behind to win. The victory takes the Reds level on 18 for the record of consecutive wins in the top flight whilst also making it 21 wins in a row at home in the league equalling a club record set under Bill Shankly in 1972.
