Piano Man Album Wrap Up - Part 2

Season 25, Ep. 14

Hello everyone and here we are to talk about Billy Joel’s second album – technically first album since no one knew where to find the first one. Recorded in September of 1973 and released on November 14, 1973 Piano Man would be Billy Joel’s “breakthrough album” and of course where he would record his signature song and receive his moniker that would follow him to this day. Released exactly 50 years ago and yet, not one person doesn't know how to join in singing "Sing Us a Song, You're the Piano Man". So, listen to this terrific episode where we'll talk about this very interesting album, the weird album cover and where it ended up; the rankings; and, of course, the parodies. 😀
