Shaun is one of the epic pioneers of Maldives surf tourism and you may know the name World Surfaris, Shaun is the creator of World Surfaris and sold the business in 2016.

Shaun is here today to talk to us a little bit about that journey and how he’s moved on to his new life philosophy of, life is short so work smarter not harder.

When Shaun isn’t running his new venture Island Hop Maldives, you can find him giving back to the community, enriching the lives of those living with intellectual impairment as a part time disability support worker, surfing at least 5 days per week and loving his new role of being a grandfather.

You’ll get insight into what makes a successful tourism business, from staff recruitment to setting the best individual and team KPIs. How to become dispensable if you too, as a business owner, feel trapped by the attachment that comes with owning a business.
