Ep 312: Celebrating a Badass, Diverse, Equality Filled Christmas with Debbie Frank, Dana Smith and March Muses

In the final show of the year the Harriet, Emma and Natalie are casting their eyes to the sky in search of what 2020 has in store for us all with astrologer Debbie Frank. Debbie is breaking down what the retrogrades, eclipses and other aspects of astrology means for your star sign and how your year will go!

100 years since the sex discrimination removal act was put into action meaning that any professions that excluded women such as lawyers were no longer allowed to discriminate. The ladies are debating whether this act is still necessary in 2020. Dana is explaining the work of the first 100 years project. Also joining the conversation is Sian Clarke, an employment lawyer at Slater and Gordon, tells us the sort of cases she deals with today and how women are still being discriminated against in the workplace, but also the inspiring women who are leading the way for gender equality.

And the final bit of entrepreneurial inspiration for the year comes from Natalie Duvall and Alison Burton who are bringing diversity to Christmas and the decorations that we adorn our trees with. Noticing the lack of colour in Christmas decorations, as two women of colour they wanted to make some black festive figurines for families in the UK and around the world. They now run "March Muses” and sell their creations on their website.

Wishing you a very merry badass Christmas and happy New Year.
