Ep 310: Learning to Say F***k No and How To Sew with Juliet Uzor and Sarah Knight

The question of the week is: should Caroline Flack continue to host the reality relationship show “Love Island” after news of her arrest following a claim she abused her boyfriend? Is it correct to allow her to be a role model for young women and girls as an alleged attacker?

Live with the badass ladies this week is Juliet Uzor the winner of the 2019 “Great British Sewing Bee”, she won the show stitching things together from an old pair of curtains or scrap pieces of cloth and made some beautiful designs although, sewing didn’t come into Juliet’s life until her 20’s but she soon developed a talent for it after teaching herself with YouTube. The ladies discuss women in their own families having sewn when they were younger, so why did we stop making our own clothes somewhere down the line?

Sarah Knight is the queen of not giving a f***k she has mastered the art of putting her own needs first, not worrying about what people think of her as well as saying no! Sarah quit her corporate job in New York and moved to the Dominican Republic to write her guides. Her latest book “F***k No!” Teaches us how to stop agreeing to things we actually don’t want to do. She explains why Women finds this harder than men.
