One of the most controversial horror films of recent years, The Human Centipede takes a very simple idea ... and makes a very simple film. It's a disgusting film that doesn't show you hardly anything, a situational comedy disguised as torture po*n, and a reflective look at a man grieving for his dog(s). Whatever it actually is, you can't disagree that it's rather odd.
