Mets Season Preview, Predictions feat. Wally Backman

Jake Brown and Nelson Figueroa open the show talking about Opening Day this week and Francisco Lindor ordering chicken parm at his extension dinner meeting. The guys then do an in-depth preview of the 2021 Mets from the lineup to the rotation to the bullpen, before making their predictions for the season. 1986 World Series champion Mets infielder Wally Backman then joins the show. Backman discusses managing the Long Island Ducks now, managing today’s player, why he won’t ever manage the Mets with Sandy Alderson there, what went wrong there, the 1986 Mets, the 1988 team and thoughts on the current Mets. NY Post Mets beat writer Mika Puma drops by to talk about his new book, the bullpen, Jeff McNeil and make predictions for the Mets season.
