Vikrant Tomar is a scientist and executive with 8+ years of speech recognition and machine learning experience. He pursued a PhD in automatic speech recognition from McGill University and founded Fluent.ai Inc. in 2015. Prior to that, he has worked at Nuance, and Vestec as a Research Scientist. In this incredible talk, Vikrant Tomar takes us on his journey of moving to Canada from a small village in India. He came to Montreal to continue his studies and successfully launched his startup in artificial intelligence to allow everyone to communicate with smart devices in their native language.
